Bailey Holyfield, Executive Director
Bailey is the Executive Director of the Luminary Learning Network, Denver's first innovation network. Bailey joined the LLN from Denver Public Schools. She also previously served as a Director of Teaching and Learning in San Antonio, and was a teacher, coach, and school-based instructional leader in Dallas. She received Bachelor’s degrees in English and Corporate Communications & Public Affairs from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and a M.A. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver. She also holds a Colorado Principal License.
Frank Coyne, Director of Leadership and Learning
Frank serves as the Director of Leadership and Learning, where he empowers LLN leaders to better serve their school communities. Frank began his career as a teacher in residential treatment and later advanced to higher education, where he served as a curriculum and instructional leader at the University of Denver. He spent nearly a decade as Co-director of DU’s Center for Community Engagement. His experience also includes teaching and leading after-school programs within DPS. In 2009, Frank achieved his dream of starting the Denver Green School, where he served as Lead Partner for 13 years. During his tenure, he spearheaded numerous initiatives within DPS and founded the Luminary Learning Network. Frank holds a B.A. in Human Development from Penn State University and an M.A. in Education from the University Denver and a CO Principal license.
Kristopher Blythe, Senior Director, Zone Operations
Kristopher is the Senior Director, Zone Operations of the Luminary Learning Network. Kristopher previously served as a Manager of Deployment for a supply management subsidiary of Ascension Health, the nation’s largest Catholic healthcare system. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Sport Management, from Lipscomb University with an M.B.A, and from the Broad Center with an M.Ed.
